Account Sales Representative
Dynamic account sales people will start up, build and manage our Corporate and College speaker's bureau and management business. Candidates will have proven sales experience or working knowledge of the meetings industry or college activities boards, excellent verbal communication skills, outgoing personality, and be highly motivated. Representatives must be interested and familiar with current events, multicultural communities, business trends, sports, and pop culture and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Associates identify, develop and strengthen partnerships with current and prospective clients and speakers primarily by telephone. After identifying a client's goals, they propose appropriate speakers, create contracts, and communicate event information to internal departments. The ideal candidate will be goal oriented, entrepreneurial, and success-driven. This means embracing financial goals, enjoying the selling process, and being comfortable with a base and incentive-based compensation. Equally important is someone who is driven to success, has excellent organizational and time management skills, is persistent and resilient, is comfortable with the computer, and who has sound business judgment.
