Where Did the Christians Go?

The survey of more than 54,000 people conducted between February and November of last year showed that the percentage of Americans identifying as Christians has dropped to 76 percent of the population, down from 86 percent in 1990. Those who do call themselves Christian are more frequently describing themselves as "nondenominational" "evangelical" or "born again," according to the American Religious Identification Survey.
Why are there fewer professed Christians in the U.S, and what does that mean for religion overall?

Why are there fewer professed Christians in the U.S, and what does that mean for religion overall? Professed Christians are being swayed by every doctrine under U.S. history. This is what is prophesied in the bible about Christians being swayed by every strong wind that cuts the curve.
America's religious pot is filled with people of diverse backgrounds of different faith. So with that brewing, everyone thinks that their religion is written in everlasting ink. We battled with other countries because of our beliefs. It’s like the movie STAR TREK, where the Vulcans, an advanced alien race, made first contact with Earth on that day after detecting the warp drive signature.
Men are always in search of conquering something or someone. It’s always man’s deepest desire to make his belief everyones else belief. Like I love the way Thomas Hobbes decribes man’s selfish ways. Thomas Hobbes suggest that "such is the nature of men, that howsoever they may acknowledge many others to be more witty, or more eloquent, or more learned; yet they will hardly believe there be many so wise as themselves. I think If I had a push/pause button on the world, I would stop everything and ask a simply question, why are we fighting against each other? What grand prize are we really in search of? Now if the answer is power, ask yourself does power last for eternity or is this short span illusion that man has become obsessed in conquering such a short lived dream. Why do we chase temporal things, when eternity things are such much more beneficial?
After I ask those questions, I would push the play button again and man will still resume his selfish position as if nothing ever happen. That’s man's desires to be selfish and self gain, which leads to self destruction.

A couple of points… First off, we are still here! The major misconception is labeling; to be Christian, Catholic, and Muslim… We are spirit beings, and many of us have come to understand that it is about our spirits and not our affiliations. The slipping away of those who now profess “no religious affiliation” are many who have not found the spiritual fulfillment and enrichment, within the congregations we all are in search of achieving.
In addition, scandals and hypocritical icons who have dominated the media, have attributed to the “slipping way” also. When the “church” shifts to building the whole person; spirit, soul, and body, then we will begin to see work of the ministry, people perfected, and the body of Christ fit as a church. Scientific Proof that God Exists
One primary reason for the loss of Christians, is that many feel that there is no scientific proof that the God of the bible exists. Debates that refuse a discussion of creation by God have also greatly contributed.
There is, however, a purely scientific proof. I am a black scientist, and would like to make you aware of that proof through my book, Eternal Origin.
