A lot can happen in a month and a half before a general election. That's the amount of time before Election Day in which people, in some states, can take advantage of "early voting."
Why should or shouldn't we do away with presidential campaigning once early voting begins?
Hard LeftHard Left is a clarion call for liberal politicians and leaders to pick themselves up off the ground and counter the conservative offensive by tackling the political and racial issues that go to the core of our society.

Monica Diggs You are funny
Monica Diggs You are funny and I share your sentiments, but can you imagine if George Jr. was a black man and got us in the condition that we are in today he would have been impeached and jailed by now, he is still the president and is not getting any of the negative attention that is due him as commander in chief over this great country, and by the way Sarah Palin won't be sitting down with Katie Couric without any pre-conditions.

You're right Ms. Dee. The conservatives are running out of ideas, and anyone who decides to vote for them based on the nonsense that they are talking this week, truly need to have their head examined. I used to think that George Bush was the most incompetent politician, but Sarah Palin has proven me wrong. Every time she makes a statement, she makes Bush look like a genius!
Hi Monica Diggs, I would
Hi Monica Diggs, I would agree with you that campaigning shouldn't stop once the early voting starts, but I will say that when it gets this close to election day folks have to be careful with what they take in to help them decide their vote because with this election in particular the conservatives are grasping for straws right now and will say and do anything in this last hour to pull votes.
Hi Tavis! I think that early
Hi Tavis! I think that early voting is a good thing for those of us who know for sure who we are going to vote for. We do not have early voting here in Missouri, but if we did I would certainly take advantage of it in an election of this magnitude just to avoid the long lines that are going to be inevitable on election day. I do not, however believe that campaigning should be done away with when early voting begins because just because I know for sure who I am going to vote for, does not mean that my neighbor or family member knows who he or she is going to vote for.
Hey Tavis, I am one who
Hey Tavis,
I am one who participated in the early voting this year, when I made my vote I was 100% sure of what mattered to me to make the choices I did, now anything after that as far as campaigning is concerned would be desperate attempts by both parties to win the race.
Peace!
