Danger to Food Preventable?

According to an article in The Washington Post, the FDA knew about various contamination problems that ultimately led to the deaths of at least three people:
The Food and Drug Administration has known for years about contamination problems at a Georgia peanut butter plant and on California spinach farms that led to disease outbreaks that killed three people, sickened hundreds, and forced one of the biggest product recalls in U.S. history, documents and interviews show. Overwhelmed by huge growth in the number of food processors and imports, however, the agency took only limited steps to address the problems and relied on producers to police themselves, according to agency documents.What does the administration need to do to adequately protect the safety of the U.S. food supply?

Everything that is in the food we eat should be labeled and known to the consumer; we do not know what we are eating and what ingredients are in the things we eat. You are more safe growing your own food, because it is not a matter of "if," it is a matter of "when" the big corporations corner the seed market, and genetically modified the seeds in the world. We will not know what a normal seed look like.

For years the FDA has known about food contamination and refuse to speak out because of the money being made from big corporations, that allows money in their pocket. They call themselves monitoring the food but not the ingredients that goes into the food that is genetically modified. When you mix an egg by means other than normal reproductive measures or natural bacterial organisms, you introduce genes that are foreign to other species, and it may have unexpected and potentially dangerous side effects when placed in a genetic environment that is different from what is natural for them. We are playing God and violating barriers in the natural world. If it quack like a duck and bark like a dog it is a a duck dog, something that has never been born.
That is why there are so many illnesses and other unknown sickness in this world; we are playing God.

Tell the truth. They haven't been protecting us. Once contamination has been detected, tell what it is. Probably human feces!!! We are wide open for any type of mishap because it always after the fact.
Money is the evil core of all
Money is the evil core of all that's happening in this world. If the Food and Drug Administration can make money off as much contaminated food before the explosion occur-so what a few people die in the process of their negligence...?
Look as some of the warehouses that have outdated food contaminated food that they so freely put on the shelf. How many secrets does America really cover up for a dollar and at what expense-the people? Should we be concerned-you bet? But who's listening -certainly not Bush and his crew...
But the most important question of the day is "Who really cares enough to blow the whistle on what is really going on with the inspection of our foods? Do you think money played a major factor in this tragic outcome? For all we know we could have the terrorist themselves inspecting our foods-you just don't know with the greedy, cheap labor, outsourcing mentality America has. America could go too far with this cheap labor that we invite the terrorist himself right into the country-not that they may not already be here- we all know the gates are open for all to come. After all if the enemy knows your weakness-he will play you like a cheap violin... Bin Laden offspring could be front and center on the inspection line-YOU JUST NEVER KNOW! Like Arsenio use to say-things that make you go hmmmmmmmm!
What should we expect out of
What should we expect out of an un-loyal Bush Administration?
Should we expect protection against our food supply when they don't give a dam about lives in particular? Come on what kind of expectation should American people have when we know what we are dealing with? If this Administration compassion for life is zero to none-let's just guess how much compassion is given to what we eat-after all these two go hand in hand...
The Food and Drug Administration is a joke-our US inspection is a joke. What more could we want as a nation who’s voices are tuned and our will is stamped with the seal called void.. a blue ribbon? I can see why China will be the leading Country in the future to come. The United States deal too far to the left in things that don't matter. Their focus is on a man's skin color and not his ability to continue to build this country. How much common sense can one have in order to see wisdom calling- is above ignorance? Can the United States still stand in truth and call it self a leader when the covers are blown off and the truth is revealed? We are a nation that unfortunately are more concerned over division than we are unity. "TOGETHER WE STAND....DIVIDED WE FALL. This quote makes sense in every aspect of its creation-but do we follow these words! HELL NO...HELLO ANYONE LISTENING IN LEADERSHIP! HELLLOOOOOOOOO.....Until we have in place leaders that can operate in common sense and love-we can forget about the word CARE. Instead of getting a genuine soul that understands what the American people want, this is what we are giving as a bootleg copy of a leader---Bush, Cheney, Rumsfield, Gonzales, and the cheerleaders in the back. Now what should we be expecting Tavis? The American people are down here in the valley -the ordinary people and we didn't hear the question clearly? Can you so kindly repeat the question? We keep hearing the Bush Administration saying Caroline don’t go to the light.. Why? Is that where truth awaits America?
